A young woman, Maddie Colton (30s), is interrogated by a stern Agent Hughes (40s) while a police squad raids her house. As the interrogation proceeds, the agent's line of questioning seems to be concerned with her reproductive history. Has she been recently pregnant, has she tried to get pregnant, has she ever sought an abortion? Meanwhile, the squad tears her house apart looking for something. Eventually, they find what they're looking for -- it's a bloody fetus. Reveal we are in a dystopian future where reproductive rights no longer exist and all prenatal deaths are investigated as murders. Despite her pleas of innocence, they're charging her with an intentional abortion and drag her away towards a life in prison.
